VAT & DDP Delivery Policy

Overview

At Nortrival, we aim to provide a smooth and transparent international shopping experience. Depending on your destination country, your order may be shipped under either DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) or standard shipping terms.

This policy explains how taxes, duties, and import fees are handled.

What is DDP Shipping

DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) means that all import duties, taxes, and customs fees are prepaid by Nortrival at the time of shipment.

If your order is shipped under DDP terms:

  • You will not be required to pay additional customs fees upon delivery

  • All import duties and taxes are included in the product price or shipping cost

  • Your package will be delivered directly without customs payment delays

DDP shipping is designed to provide a hassle-free delivery experience.

VAT and Import Taxes

Depending on your country or region, Value Added Tax (VAT) or import taxes may apply.

For DDP-covered orders:

  • VAT and import duties are handled and prepaid by Nortrival

  • You will not be charged additional fees upon delivery

For non-DDP regions:

  • Local customs authorities may charge import duties or taxes

  • These charges are the responsibility of the customer

We recommend checking your local import regulations before placing an order.

Customs Clearance

All international shipments may be subject to customs inspection.

In rare cases:

  • Customs may delay clearance

  • Additional documentation may be required

  • Delivery time may be extended

Nortrival is not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities.

Refused or Unpaid Duties

If a customer refuses to accept a package due to unpaid customs fees (in non-DDP regions), the package may be returned or abandoned.

In such cases:

  • Shipping costs may not be refunded

  • Additional return fees may be deducted from refund amounts

Delivery Responsibility

Once a package is handed over to the shipping carrier and cleared through customs (if applicable), responsibility for delivery transfers to the logistics provider.
